Guyselmann Cloud Cover

Story: Early August is considered "monsoon season" in Colorado and in 2016 it was an excellent year for it. I was working on my Milky Way photography course at the time, but of course had to get my normal photography in. I was set up and recording for my course after a thunderstorm passed, low lying clouds were still circling around some of the mountain peaks of the Gore Range as the sun was low in the horizon. I stopped my recording and quickly grabbed my telephoto lens to zoom in on the top of Guyselmann Mountain to get this photo which ended up being my favorite photo from that entire trip.

The Gore Range is one of my favorite mountain ranges in Colorado, it is also Colorado's youngest range at a mere 16 Million years of age and is considered a fault block mountain range similar to the Grand Tetons of Wyoming and the northern Cascades of Washington

Limited Edition print of 30

Each print is signed, numbered, and hand picked from my portfolio to become a set of limited edition prints. The print size will vary depending on the ratio of the final photograph because I keep the original aspect ratio intended for that image. The final print will come with a white border on the top, left and right, with a deeper white border on the bottom for signing and numbering. This also makes it easier when your framer is mounting.
